Good Lines

Good Composition VS Bad Composition

Hey class, here are the four of my ten photos I took today. I decided to do 2 photos of the same thing. One photo features bad composition, and the other features good composition. I may be wrong, but this is based on my understanding of composition.

According to what I've learned thus far, these first two photos represent bad composition. They both have a focus in the center of the photograph, creating "in jail" composition.

These two photos create action and don't have an "in jail" composition since there isn't a main focus in the center of the photo and your eyes are drawn around the photo.
